Unfortunately, the Skyward hosting provider has not yet resolved the issues affecting Allen ISD and other school districts hosted within its infrastructure.
Updates provided throughout the day have been general in nature and indicate that progress is being made toward restoring services; however, a final resolution has not yet been reached, and Skyward remains unavailable.
The Allen ISD Information Technology Department has remained in continuous contact with the hosting provider throughout the day, requesting specific updates and estimated restoration timelines, as well as proposing potential solutions to assist with troubleshooting and recovery efforts.
We understand how frustrating and disruptive this extended outage has been. We will continue to advocate for an urgent resolution and keep families and staff informed as additional information becomes available.

Dear Allen ISD Staff,
Skyward and its hosting provider are continuing to work toward a resolution following technical issues encountered during the scheduled updates performed as part of the weekend maintenance window.
The outage is affecting multiple school districts across Texas and nationwide that use the same Skyward version and hosting services.
We understand how frustrating and disruptive this extended outage has been. The Allen ISD Information Technology Department and the district look forward to a full resolution from the service providers as soon as possible.

Hello Allen ISD Staff,
The Skyward hosting provider is continuing to complete required software maintenance. As a result, Skyward Student Access and Family Access may experience intermittent availability throughout Monday, July 20th.
Staff, students, and parents may be unable to access student data during this maintenance period. Guardians enrolling students through the New Student Online Enrollment system may also experience intermittent access issues.
Allen ISD is actively monitoring the maintenance progress and will provide additional updates as they become available.

The Skyward hosting provider has extended the scheduled maintenance window after identifying additional updates required during post-maintenance testing. Maintenance efforts are ongoing to ensure the stability and reliability of the Skyward environment.
The maintenance impacts the Skyward Student Information System (SMS), Family Access, and Finance & HR Systems. Access to these services, may be unavailable or intermittent throughout Monday, July 20, 2026, while maintenance continues.
